The role



We are seeking a French speaking Deputy Counsel to join our Dispute Resolution Services and support French cases.



Your responsibilities will include:



  • Reviewing and processing requests for arbitration and other documents filed by parties, arbitrators and others during arbitration proceedings;

  • Preparing agendas (memoranda) briefing the International Court of

  • Correspondence and telephone conversations with parties and arbitral tribunals concerning all aspects of case management;

  • Answering general queries about the ICC arbitral process by telephone and in writing;

  • Monitoring the financial aspects of the arbitrations handled by the team.

Requirements



We would love to hear from you if you:



  • Have at least two years of relevant professional experience in international arbitration (including internships);

  • Possess great interpersonal skills, a strong sense of organisation and attention to details, excellent written and oral communication skills;

  • Are able to work efficiently in a high-paced environment within a multicultural team;

  • Have excellent verbal and writing skills in English and French (mandatory). All other language skills are an advantage.


 


A formal legal qualification (i.e. Bar exam or equivalent) is not essential if you can demonstrate sufficient legal training and experience in international arbitration, international and/or commercial law.
