Descriptif de l'offre



The Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration is currently looking for an Arbitration Intern for our German Case Management team for a period of 5/6 months, starting September 2026.


 


Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Reading and drafting documents related to arbitration cases in English.

  • Conducting legal research and reading legal documents in English and German.

  • Preparation of conferences.

  • Translation of legal documents.

  • Ad hoc assignments as requested by the teams and the services of the

  • Secretariat to which the intern may be assigned.

Requirements



Do not hesitate to apply if you:



  • Have studies or experience in international commercial law and arbitration with strong academic credentials. Preference will be given to students in international commercial law arbitration with strong academic credentials and prior work experience;

  • Benefit from prior work experience;

  • Are fluent in English and German

  • Are meticulous in carrying out required duties;

  • Are a team player who is interested in working with a dynamic and diverse team while gaining experience in an international environment.





Terms and conditions



Important information before applying:



  • You must still be registered as a student during the time of the internship. Recent graduates who are not anymore enrolled in an educational programme are therefore not eligible to do an internship at ICC.

  • Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland must hold an appropriate visa from the French consulate.

  • Non-EU residents are required to have valid papers before applying (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) allowing them to work in France.

  • Interns are required to handle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships.

  • Based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris, our 5/6 month internship programme is full-time with an average working week of 35 hours.
