Are you passionate about protecting strong brands and navigating complex trademark enforcement matters across multiple European markets? Do you enjoy combining legal expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on case management?

If so, this Brand Enforcement Attorney Europe role could be the right opportunity for you. Based in Fuschl am See, Austria, you’ll help protect Red Bull’s brand across specific countries in Europe by managing trademark enforcement matters across a wide range of legal channels. In this role, you’ll work on oppositions, cancellations, counterfeit and parallel import matters, customs seizures, trademark infringement and unfair competition cases, helping preserve the integrity, exclusivity, and value of one of the world’s most recognized brands.

Areas that play to your strengths

  • In this role, you handle oppositions, observations, and cancellations for assigned countries across Europe, including the daily review of relevant watch notices. Potential infringements are assessed carefully to determine the most effective legal actions and protect Red Bull’s trademark rights.

    • The position includes handling smaller unfair competition matters independently and supporting the Head of Regional IP Brand Enforcement Europe on larger cases, including litigation. Depending on the situation, legal action may include cease and desist letters, oppositions, cancellations, injunctions, customs actions, and other enforcement measures.

      • You’ll help implement brand enforcement and anti-counterfeit strategies across your assigned markets. You’ll also develop and execute non-use cancellation strategies, maintain relevant tracking and best practice lists, supervise paralegal support, and ensure case records are accurately maintained through our paralegal team in our database.

        • Close collaboration with outside counsel is an important part of this role. Responsibilities include reviewing and amending legal drafts, providing legal recommendations, and supporting high-quality enforcement outcomes across markets. This work covers cease and desists letters, undertakings, writs, affidavits, reservation of rights letters, and settlement agreements.
