Tasks & Responsibilities
The Compliance team in Singapore is looking for an intern to assist with a variety of topics. The successful candidate will also work alongside Ardian’s global Compliance team of more than 20 on a variety of global topics and initiatives. The candidate will be expected to throw themselves into topics and be part of a team solution. The candidate will be exposed to the fast pace and changing regulatory landscape of the various offices. It is expected to have an ambition for understanding and interpreting complex topics.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate should demonstrate top academic performance from leading universities;
The candidate should possess a broad set of quantitative, qualitative and interpersonal skills, and be a strong team player, able to communicate well within the team and other teams;
The candidate should be self-motivated with the ability to organise and perform work efficiently with a high attention to detail, and should be an independent thinker and problem solver;
Prior experience or knowledge of financial services regulatory compliance in the private equity industry would be an advantage;
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.

The candidate will support the team with general Compliance topics such as:
Conduct second-line of defense controls for the Compliance team
Analyze, document and consolidate test results for the Compliance Monitoring Programme to ensure that regulatory and group requirements are met
Review and update guidelines if required based on regulatory changes in order to meet regulatory requirements
Monitor regulatory developments across Asia, derive recommendations and maintain regulatory horizon trackers
Prepare and assist with the creation of compliance related reports that will be provided to senior management and the Board of Directors on a periodic basis
Review documents. to ensure that they are compliant with the regulatory frameworks
Maintain engagement with regulatory counsel, consultants and fund administrators, etc.
Participate in compliance related projects
Complete other assigned tasks on a wide variety of subjects
