Descriptif de l'offre

We are looking for a motivated arbitration intern to learn from and support the work of our Dispute Resolution Services (DRS) management team for a duration of six months. 

 

Your key responsibilities and learning opportunities include

  • Conducting legal research and reading legal documents in English; 
  • Providing assistance in the processing of missions carried out by the ICC International Court of Arbitration; 
  • Reading and drafting documents related to arbitration cases in English; 
  • Preparing conferences; 
  • Translating legal document.

Requirements

Do not hesitate to apply if you

  • Have studies or experience in international commercial law and arbitration with strong academic credentials; 
  • Benefit from prior work experience; 
  • Are fluent in English and French (any additional language a plus); 
  • Are meticulous in carrying out required duties; 
  • Are a team player who is interested in working with a dynamic and diverse team while gaining experience in an international environment.  

 

Terms and conditions

Important information before applying 

  • You must still be registered as a student during the time of the internship. An application without a memorandum of agreement (convention de stage) will not be considered.
  • The intern must have an appropriate insurance valid in France for any damage caused to a third party and social insurance.
  • Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, Switzerland or United Kingdom must hold an appropriate visa from the French consulate.
  • Non-EU residents are required to have valid papers before applying (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) allowing them to work in France.
  • Interns are required to handle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships.
  • Based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris our six-month internship programme is full-time with an average working week of 35 hours.
