Temporary Contract – Real Estate Legal Counsel (M/F/X)

You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions :

 

  • Contribute to the monitoring and day-to-day management of Sephora’s French leases portfolio (over 300 points of sale).  
  • Provide advice on both real estate commercial law and construction law. 
  • Ensure the legal negotiation of leases, lease renewals, various amendments, addendums and protocols relating to these real estate assets. 
  • Manage pre-litigation, define appropriate strategies and monitor litigation in conjunction with our external lawyers (e.g. rent, construction works, claims, etc.).  
  • Work closely with the Expansion, Construction, Operations teams, and support them on a daily basis. 
  • Contribute to the training of operational teams, and monitor legal and regulatory developments. 

 

 

Do not hesitate to apply if you have… or if you are …

 

  • You have a master's degree (Master 2) in real estate law, a master's degree (Master 2) in business/contract law, or equivalent, with significant experience in commercial leases. 
  • 3 to 5 years' successful experience with a retailer and/or lessor and/or specialized law firm. 
  • Expertise of both French commercial real estate law and construction law, and of all the issues that may arise in connection with a portfolio of commercial real estate assets. 
  • A skillful negotiator, you are also proactive and able to make proposals. Your strengths include your ability to synthesize information, organizational skills, and responsiveness. 
  • Recognized for your team spirit and interpersonal skills, you also have a strong sense of customer service.  
  • Fluent and legal English (spoken and written) is appreciated.  

 

The position is a 4-month contract (that could be extended) based in Neuilly-sur-Seine (92). It is available as of May 2026.
