About the role

 

The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.

We’re looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to provide expert advice and counsel to local management in France. You'll partner with the Human Resources team on a broad range of French employment issues.

What you'll be doing

 

  • Providing advice and counsel to local management on employment issues, including grievances, dismissals, and employment contracts
  • Managing cross-border projects globally, including working with external counsel and directly delivering employment law advice
  • Ensuring compliance with French legislation
  • Advising on global mobility and contingent worker matters
  • Coordinating compensation, benefits, bonuses, and equity awards
  • Handling regulatory issues in the context of conduct, remuneration matters, and regulatory inquiries
  • Managing employment litigation, negotiated exits, and settlements

 

What you'll need

 

  • 7+ years of experience as a qualified employment lawyer in a top-tier French law firm or in-house legal department of a multinational organisation
  • Solid knowledge of French employment laws
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Excellent legal research skills
  • The ability to organise, prioritise, and work well under pressure and within tight timelines
  • The ability to think analytically and pragmatically to provide innovative, proactive advice and guidance
  • Experience working in a global and culturally diverse organisation
  • The ability to develop and foster partnerships with key stakeholders across the company
